This post (i.e. Polish original) was written right after the thrid reading of one of the most important books I've ever read. Plinio Correa de Oliveira first released it in 1959 and then there were extended editions in 1976 and 1992 - and it remains in good standing even today. He proves the existence of a great struggle in social sphere, the struggle between anti-Christian revolution (called "Revolution" with a capital "R" in the text) and Christian civilization and social order. This revolution has its origin in the spiritual plane; its chief motors are pride and sensuality - but it encompasses every sphere of life. It led to three great crises, which were phases of a destructive process - Reformation, French Revolution and Bolshevik Revolution. The fourth phase is the ongoing assult of culture Marxism, beginning from the symbolic year 1968. The Revolution's ideal is one of total freedom and complete equality. Maybe it sounds attractive for some people but, sadly, here freedom is freedom for evil and licence, while equality exceeds every boundaries of absurd, leading even to the hate of God because He is greater than man. On the other hand, Revolution aims to put an equal sign between man and animal as well - something very fashionable today.
So what is Counter-Revolution? It's a reaction, a counter-action against Revolution. What it defends and what it aims to achieve is the ordering of social sphere according to the teaching of the Church. It wants to get to know Revolution deeply to stop it, to tear all of its masks and point out were it leads - because the truth about it is shocking. Among the key tasks of Counter-Revolution we need to enumerate defending moral good, the notions of good and evil themselves, healthy traditions and the rights of the Church. In its best interest is conversion of the most numer of people, because it is driven by virtue and internal order in the soul, thanks to which man's reason it obedient to God, his will to reason, and sensibility - to will. I heartily recommend this reading to everyone who wants to understand contemporary world and even help its amendment.
